Join us for one unforgettable night where music meets meaning. Memory Rock brings together Chicago’s most passionate supporters for a high-energy evening featuring live local bands, an open bar, and an exciting silent auction—all in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. With over $1 million raised to date, this event proves that when a community rocks together, we can move mountains in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
How it Started:
Memory Rock Chicago was created in 2006 by Steve Monroe, Chicago author and commercial real estate consultant. With no prior connection to the disease, Monroe witnessed the devastating toll it took on his colleague as she lost her father to Alzheimer’s, and then cared for her mother who was diagnosed shortly thereafter. This experience compelled him to take action. He organized a committee of friends to host a fundraiser, and quickly learned many of them were also impacted by the disease.
Superheat is a Chicago-based charity band comprised of talented musicians from the construction industry. Their rock-inspired sound, powered by strong vocals and unified rhythm, fuels their commitment to supporting various charitable causes. To date, they have helped raise over $10 Million for several organizations, including the Alzheimer’s Association.
